D.EP.PA.THE. S.A. is an official partner of the European programme “GREENSPIRE”, which aims to accelerate the decarbonisation of heat demand in Europe through innovative heat symbiosis/cooperation solutions and shared thermal energy use.
What is GREENSPIRE?
The GREENSPIRE programme (EU HORIZON – LIFE-2024-CET) is one of the most significant European initiatives promoting sustainable energy and enhanced thermal efficiency.
Its specific objectives include:
- The development of sustainable heat symbiosis models
- The utilisation of renewable heat systems (e.g., solar thermal energy, high-temperature heat pumps, and heat storage methods)
- The reduction of CO₂ emissions from industrial and urban thermal energy uses
- The strengthening of collaborative energy models at European level
Greenspire Kick-off Event From Launch to Implementation
The project officially commenced with the GREENSPIRE EU Project Kick-off event, attended by partners from four European countries (Spain, Denmark, Belgium, and Greece).
During the event, the core principles of the project were presented, initial pilot applications in selected regions were discussed, and the importance of cooperation between industrial partners and energy solution providers was highlighted.

D.EP.PA.THE. S.A. actively participates in the project, having undertaken involvement in one of the six pilot applications, providing technical support, and conducting thermal performance data analysis, while sharing best practices and solutions within the framework of heat symbiosis.
