The Special Purpose Company VIPA THESSALONIKI S.A. was established in September 2000 with the objective of developing an industrial park under the name Thessaloniki Industrial Park (VIPATHE), located in the area of Kato Gefyra, Agios Athanasios, Thessaloniki.

The infrastructure works of VIPATHE were completed by TERNA S.A., and the official inauguration took place in November 2008. The Park was subsequently incorporated into the provisions of Law 2545/97 concerning Industrial Parks.

In 2009, the administration and management of VIPATHE were transferred, under Government Gazette 320/15.1.2009, from the VIPATHE Development Company S.A. to the Management and Administration Company DEPPAΤHE S.A.

The purpose of the Company is to ensure the proper operation of the Park’s infrastructure, the financial management of its facilities and assets, the allocation of shared operational costs among users, and the protection of the interests of the companies established in the Park, which are also shareholders of DEPPAΤHE S.A.

Following the Park’s inclusion in Law 3982/2011, the Thessaloniki Industrial Park (VIPATHE) was renamed Thessaloniki Business Park (EPPATHE) and was classified as a Category B Park under Government Gazette 2335 Β’/20.9.2013.

In 2024, EPPATHE was incorporated into the new legislative framework for Business Parks (Law 4982/2022) and was classified as a Category A2 Park under Government Gazette 4073 Β’/11.7.2024.
